I am a board certified lactation consultant in private practice.  I have been a lactation counselor since 1994.  I am also a lactation consultant at Beth Israel Medical Center in NYC where I am co-Founder and Coordinator of The Breastfeeding Center of Manhattan.  At Beth Israel I work with mothers and babies on the maternity, newborn intensive care, and pediatric intensive care units, as well as teaching Preparation for Breastfeeding Classes, and in-services for RNs and Physicians.
